This is a growing community (including blog and wiki) for Framemaker and FDK develolpers. For now we who blog here will remain nameless… we’ll focus on sharing our knowledge, and trying to elicit yours.
The subjects of this blog will include:
- Links to resources we’ve found useful for dealing with (or avoiding dealing with) the Framemaker Developer Kit APIs
- Any rumors we may get about upcoming releases of Framemaker– new features, new platforms, timelines…
- Our thoughts on competition for Framemaker, especially for XML/structured document editing
- Notes on the experiences of a couple of for-now-to-remain-nameless FDK hackers
- Example source code for Framemaker FDK clients, for Framemaker 7.0, 6.0 and (soon) 7.2
And, because we’re not just Framemaker hackers, we’re also clients, we’ll bring you tips about Framemaker utilities we think are great, or at least noteworthy– tools for unstructured Framemaker, or structured Frame, or both.
