Re: backward compatibility (FM7.0 and FM7.1)

Hi Andy
It does not pose a problem IMHO. There are differences between the versions,
but none that I have discovered to pose a problem in a collaborative
process. But use MIF if you worry about it.
Best regards

backward compatibility (FM7.0 and FM7.1)

Hi all,
If I use FM 7.0, I can open an .fm file that was authored/edited by an
author using FM 7.1. No MIF file is needed.
How bad an idea is to allow some authors to use 7.0 and others to use
7.1? I just discovered that some of our part-time authors were
installed with version 7.1 and the rest of us are using 7.0.
