FrameUsers under attack?
One of the first tasks on the agenda for this site has been to collect a list of other Framemaker-related resources on the Web. Today, for the first time in a long while, I visited FrameUsers, a long-established presence on the Web and email for Framemaker users, and found this news:
FrameUsers.com is offline for extensive maintenance. The server has been a target of hackers and botnets for at least the past 6 months and we have been actively trying to thwart their attempts.
We decided to take the server down a couple of weeks ago to close any remaining security holes and redesign the site. We anticipate the maintenance being completed by the end of the year.Thanks for your patience.
We’re mystified as to why a site like FrameUsers.com would draw this kind of malicious attention, and wish them all the best as they get their site back online.
